ASPPUK-Best Practices: Experiences in Supporting Women's Micro Enterprises - This
book is the output of interviews with people directly involved in
activities for empowerment of women's micro enterprises in Indonesia.
The book provides a brief sketch of the complexities of the experiences
and struggles of women's micro enterprises actively involved in the
women's micro enterprise network, JARPUK (Jaringan Perempuan Usaha
Kecil) and of the support staff and NGO activists in the support for
ASPPUK (Asosiasi Pendamping Perempuan Usaha Kecil= Women's Micro
Enterprises Association).

book likes to share the situation of children trafficked for sexual
purposes in seven areas in the Philippines (Zamboanga, Cagayan de oro,

victims and survivors from the research areas are evidences that there

is a country where many women and children are trafficked for many
purposes. However, information that provides a detailed
description about types of trafficking and the victims is still needed
in order to support the continuous effort to prevent this type of
crime. The book presents the results of the research conducted by Rifka
Annisa Research and Training Center team in West Kalimantan, Indonesia.
This book can provide basic information about the situation of
trafficked children for labor exploitation and will add to the
extensive literature on similar issues.
